{thank you for The Grove Resort and Spa for hosting my family this weekend. All opinions are my own! }

We are back from a long weekend in Orlando. We always love seeing the mouse (: and discovering new places to stay like The Grove Resort and Spa! It’s such a little calming oasis, and just a short drive to Disney. It’s a great place to stay, especially if you’re … traveling with grandparents (so helpful at Disney!) or you have a child that needs his own room so you all can get 8 hours in.

The rooms!
You can get a 1,2, or 3 bedroom suite. Most likely for less than what you could get a one bedroom at a mid level disney hotel!
You also have a full size kitchen, with a cute breakfast nook, and a couch in an attached living room that can double as an additional bed. They have a stock the fridge program, so you can have your items in your fridge before your arrival.
There’s a porch balcony which was a great place to drink coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise. I was told you can also see the disney fireworks from here but I never made it up that late (:
Kids activity center:
They have a cute kids area where you can do guided crafts and play games. They also have an arcade and if my kids had their way they would still be there.

Restaurants:
Tuck wore this every morning for breakfast and would ask kids if they want a picture with him. Cracked me up. Some kids were like uhhhh no, and he would see parents of babies, and go up to them and ask them if there baby would like a picture with him. I saw multiple parents of babies take pics of their baby and Dash Incredible. LOL.
We loved breakfast in Valencia every morning. My favorite was the green juices there – there’s one that has a little spice to it. Perfect chilly way to fuel up on the way to the parks. We had dinner there on Saturday and my NY strip was so good!!

Afterwards the boys danced a little to live music at Elements.
loved the tile at Valencia!
Alfresco’s has subs, salads, pizzas, groceries, wine, gelato… all the necessities (:

Lake Activities
One thing I really loved is how much natural beauty is around the hotel. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! Off the dock on property, you can rent fishing poles, get a guided tour on a boat, kayak, or paddle swan boats. The boys LOVED the swan boats.

The Spa!
Y’all know I love a good spa! I felt so relaxed after my treatment. I would have stayed here and the wet suana for hours, but we had to get to dinner.

The surfari waterpark & The Springs
My five year old LOVED the flowrider! We all loved going down the lazy river. The boys favorite though was probably the splash zone. They spent hours enjoying it! It was so nice to have a cabana with a fan, towels, and waters to retreat to. There are lots of zero entry pools throughout the property. The Springs pools have a huge hot tub, splash area, and deeper pools my boys loved to swim in. It’s a little quieter than the waterpark. One of the best parts of the resort is that it wasn’t hard to find pool chairs – the whole place wasn’t crowded at all even though there were a lot of people there.
A few things to know:
- No charge for the floats for the Lazy River!
- The flowrider is rented by the hour for a fee of $35
- Children need to be under 48 inches to go on the Splash Zone.
- The Cabanas are a fee as well, but worth it especially if you have an infant who needs to be in total shade and a fan.
The Proximity to Parks
It took exactly 20 minutes from the ticketing center to the hotel. The following day it took 17 minutes to get to Animal Kingdom. Which is about the same if you take the bus system at Disney as they have to make a lot of stops throughout their properties. They do have a complimentary shuttle to and from the ticketing center, but since we are passholders we have free parking and didn’t use the shuttle.

If you have any questions about The Grove Resort and Spa, I would love to answer them. Message me or leave me a comment, and I’ll be sure to respond! You can get 20% off through booking here with code LIFESTYLE <3
