Wesley’s Nursery

I wanted to share a peek of Wesley’s little nursery here.  Juuuuuust a little 18 months too late.  Better late than never (: Though don’t get me started on how he’s turning 18 months this week… I feel the hot tears welling up.

I used to have the crib on the other side but with so many curtains to pull down, we switched as soon as he was mobile.  It’s a tiny little room, but just the right size for a baby.  If we have a third, the baby will go in here while Wes will move in with Tuck.  I would still want to keep a guest room – I do love the company we have and I’d hate to turn anyone away!  Plus I think designing a little room for two boys would be so much fun!  Getting way way ahead of myself though … (:

Anyway, back to this room —

I love, borderline have an obsession with, Bunnies and Lambs.  Truth be told at a year and a half he has definitely grown out of this, but he’s still my little baby lamb so they’re here to stay for a bit longer.  Though once we transition to a toddler bed or big boy bed, this room will get a makeover.

Here’s the sources for everything:

{sugarboo & co my darlings pillow  c/o — get 15% off everything at sugarboo & co with TUCKER15 // linen glider // UK flag linen rug c/o Lorena Canals — completely washing machine friendly!! // lamb rocker // baby framed art — this hung in my grandmothers nursery, and all of her kids, and now mine — also was in Tucks nursery // brass W is old west elm // God speed quote of one of my favorite songs ever was made by sweetest Shay from Love the Nelsons // serena and lilly belly basket filled with stuffed animals and blocks — there are a ton of similar ones at ikea // warrior sign c/o dwelling space // i love you beyond measure decal // armoire was $40 in a thrift store and JB sanded and painted it with some left over Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter // The color of the room is Benjamin Moore Linen White // The crib I scooped up from craigslist but is an old Pottery Barn one — Bratt carries similar ones — it came with an adorable matching changing table that Heather is now using for her baby since our diaper changes are mostly downstairs these days.   The whole set was $150!  Pays to scour craigslist! // the big oversized zinc W is from anthropologie //   The little aqua anchor was something Jessica Lorren found while shooting a wedding down here, a couple years later she was selling it and I got it! // curtains are ikea Sanela — love the color! // baby lamb print from The Animal Print shop }

Let me know if I didn’t source something and you’re curious about where it’s from.

Happy Thursday!!
