Thanksgiving decor transitioning to Christmas

I can’t go full on Christmas juuuust yet.  I want to!  But Thanksgiving really is one of my favorite holidays, and I want to savor that.  So this is a little “soft decorating” for Thanksgiving that will also transition into Christmas.  But hey I don’t know if that gigantic golden laurel above the fireplace is ever coming down because I love it toooo much.  There’s no turkeys to be seen, but I’m just a little over pumpkins at the moment.  So touches of gold make it feel festive to me.  And the scent of the pinecones!

TO DO for Thanksgiving decor:

fill the fireplace!  birchwood or candles were some of the suggestions I got. Now I need to make it happen.

Decorate the ginger jars.  Still deciding what I’ll fill them with- some sort of branches, magnolia maybe for thanksgiving and little pines for Christmas.

Decorate the boys table for Thanksgiving.

Next week there’s probably going to be a little more of this as I dip into the attic … (:

Hope you all had a great weekend!!  I am thankful for YOU.
