Since I haven’t quite gotten around to uploading any photos just yet of our trip, I thought I’d share some of hers.  

We spent almost the entire day at Le Trois Rois in Basel.  Beginning with breakfast, then a bite for lunch, and left just before dinner time but not before a glass of champagne.  we were the guests that i’m sure they would have liked to kick out, but were too polite to ask.  which is often the case when i brunch with girlfriends.  a quick lunch turns into three hours in the blink of an eye.   I love and miss these girls so much.  it was so fun having our boys together too.  And I’m afraid we slightly terrified bettina with mom stories … because there are things no one tells you!  but seriously … lol. 

 I’m still hopeful we didn’t scare her off completely from this whole motherhood thing.  

i remember crissy inviting me for high tea here one of the first weeks upon moving to Basel.

of course i had no friends and crissy welcomed me with open arms. 

who knew she’d be one of my closest friends.  

then the next year i brought my friends visiting from the states here.  

babies far from my mind …. both years.

and then here i come again.  same exact spot i sat all three times.  only this time with tuck in tow.
