I loved this family session with Taylor.  When I opened to look at the photos, I was truly so overwhelmed with gratitude.  It was wonderful getting away to Marco Island (more on our trip to the JW later this week!) with my family + parents.

While I would call getting family photos often a serious perk of my job… the rest of my family might not describe it as such (;

So I always take a pretty laid back approach to family photos.  I love photos of them in the moment that capture their true spirit at this time in their life.  I go for hues that we normally wear and that work well with the setting.  And we maybe spend 5 minutes  getting that one posed smile photo.  Then it’s back to the vacation!  We’re always glad we captured these special moments.
