Love affair with Loafers

i got to meet with my first bride today!
i’ve got an ear infection though, which is not fun, not fun at all.
it’s given me time to hunt down my perfect loafers.  really meaningful stuff around here.
the ones that got away. . .
this happens maybe twice a year.  I obsess over something that was so perfect, and yet I did not purchase.  I found these leopard loafers at forever 21 back in October, and for some hair brained reason I did not snatch them up.  I bet I would have lived in them and some skinnies.  and a shirt too!  i’m not going out neked.
they looked like these but had a $19 price tag.  darn it!
however, I did find these guys at shop ruche.  $24.50
… i’m not sure i can resist.
Would you wear loafers?
or are they a bit too grandma for you?

I hate when I have non-buyers remorse, especially over something that is so inexpensive. Feel better soon and good luck with your first appointment! You'll be amazing.

I totes love them! But I'm like you and haven't purchased a pair. I love the ones J.Crew has, but I like to see how the trend ages. If it's like a fine wine, it gets better with age. πŸ˜‰ Meaning…some of the best designs are yet to come! But for $24.50 who could resist those sunny loafs?!

I feel the same way about loafers…chic or grandma? I want the perfect pair of brown ones, but everytime I try a pair on I get that "oh no, am I my mother?" feeling. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect pair!

I live in my loafers! I managed to snatch up a pair of the F21 leopard print ones before they disappeared and bought a classic black velvet pair from ASOS (a bit more expensive but how can you put a price on love?) Don't think twice this time around! The mustard pair are adorbs

I've been loving loafers this fall! I've been embracing the grandma-ness and using them as an alternative to my usual ballet flats.

Absolutely love loafers. And of course, being leopard makes them even better. My Tory Burch leopard Revas are just about toast, so I was just looking into these: (not sure how to post that as a link!) but they're $70 and free shipping! Not as great a deal as the $19 but probably better quality at least! Also, congrats on your first client!! You are doing exactly what I've felt an itch to do since I graduated school. Best of luck dear xo

Funny actually-she was wearing a cardigan recently, and I asked if I could have it.
