learning to latina dance

The girls and I threw a hawaiian party last night.  By the middle of the night it had turned into a full fledge latina dance party.  Perfectly fine by me!
the fact that i have no rhythm did not deter all of them from teaching me a thing or two about latina dancing.  they are such a passionate bunch.  This “dance party” lasted for at least three hours.  a bunch of women singing and dancing.  it was a sight to see/hear.  They did not laugh at the poor gringo girl who so obviously could not dance.  All were so encouraging and sweet.  I hope to be more like them in the coming year.
the very brave solo man
Hope you all have a lovely New Years Eve!  We’re headed to Las Tablas where the carnival (think: mardi gras) will be in full force.
What are your NYE plans?

So fun!!!! No worries…I have no rhythm whatsoever…can't clap and sing…nada! My husband is a musician and he will try to work with me and nothing changes! Haha! Some of us have it, some of us don't!!! But we make up for it in other ways haha! 🙂

if i could, i'd have a dance party every day as a form of working out. sometimes, i have them alone…in my kitchen..usually it helps to just put on a beyonce concert dvd and go from there.

I love how you organize your pictures, you make them so much more interesting than just stacking them on top of one another! I think your party was a definite success. I wish I could be partying like this on NYE but I will be recovering from my wisdom teeth surgery 🙁

how do you already have friends there??? because you're so freaking cool that everyone is like "who is the hot blonde with the nice teeth? must get to know her!" probs.

or are they the wives of jb's business associates (doesnt that sound so professional)?
