Fall Wedding Weekend Wear

I went to bed last night praying that Matthew would weaken.  I was thankful that it did go down to a category three by the time I woke up.  But they say the worst is yet to come.  I am on my knees for you, East Coast.

I didn’t think we’d be able to get out today, which seems so trivial to say in light of everything, but it looks like our flight is still on time.  We are looking forward to a night in DC, fall weather, exploring Charlottesville, touring Monticello, wine tasting with the wedding party, and most importantly, celebrating our friends marriage!  Would love your recommendations for the Charlottesville area.  I wanted to share what I have packed — the only thing that isn’t linked above are the lovely earrings from Lauren Milmine(c/o).  I had fun pulling from my closet, and picking out a few new fall refreshers.  All of the things from RTR were used with my RTR unlimited subscription.  Which has been a great value lately.

I hope wherever you are this weekend, you are safe!

SO jealous! Charlottesville is my home. Be sure to visit the downtown mall and pick a fun spot for brunch. Lots of good choices! Wine tasting at King Family, Blenheim and Pippin are a must! Eat a bodos bagel and have their caesar – I promise you won’t be dissapointed! Enjoy!!!

So fun! Welcome to Charlottesville! A few favorite vineyards/wineries include: Pippin Hill, Early Mountain, Blenheim. A few favorite places to eat are: Lampo, Bizou, Parallel 38, Continental Divide, Citizen Burger, Rapture and Mezeh ( casual/quick). The downtown mall is adorable in the downtown area. Petit Bebe is the cutest children’s boutique! Apple picking at Carter mountain is a must along with Monticello! And they are so close together! Coffee favorites on the mall are The Pie Chest and Mudhouse! Enjoy!
