It seems like with every passing year I get more and more excited to decorate for Christmas.  I love all of the seasons, but starting with thanksgiving?  what could be better?!  Here’s a little peek inside our home, all decked out for Christmas.

This year, like last year, I was inspired by one of Dixie Designs cards when decorating.  When I saw this fireplace scene,  I was like – that’s exactly the kind of pretty coziness I want to recreate here at home.  It inspired our purchase of the gorgeous italian ruscus garland  from fifty flowers.  I asked one of their specialists what would keep the longest, and it was italian ruscus.  My fave!  It still looks great and we’ve had it a couple weeks now.  It feels so cozy in here, that I want to be a homebody even more than normal.  Every night Tuck asked, can we sit around the tree for a bit?  He may be stalling for bedtime, but I am 100% taking the bait and enjoying it.  Doing our best to savor every second of this glorious season that is filled with the most amazing hope and Gods incredible love.
