Vintage Bar Armoire

bar amoire{Pagoda cocktail napkins  by southern baby// chinoserie placemats by idlewildco // ginger jar paper napkins   by Emily McCarthy Shoppe  // tassel wine charms are from paper source but out of stock – these are from bauble bar and just as cute}bar amoireYou may remember this old post of mine where I was on the hunt for a place to stash wine glasses, and bar accessories.  With all the pretty new bar and wine cabinets available, I still couldn’t get the image of an antique armoire for wine storage out of my mind.  As luck would have it, when we went looking at the chalk paint dresser , we spotted this armoire.  We bought the dresser right away, but I took a couple days to think about the armoire.  But I did say yes!  It was $250, so a fraction of the price of what I was looking at online.   I am still not 100% on the color.  I do love the color and feel like it fits,  but I wonder about a navy.  I switched out the hardware for these simple brass pulls from target.  I love the way it updated it a bit.

We had most of this in boxes in our guest room closet, so it’s been freeing to get it out of there!  And nice to have plenty of wine glasses available for use when we are entertaining.  Extra storage is always a good thing.
