Baby girl shower

We had a great time celebrating my sweet friend and mama to be, Heather Jo, on Saturday.  Isn’t she beautiful?!  She has always wanted to be a mom and I know she will make an amazing one.  Can’t wait to hold that baby girl, Finley, in a few short weeks!

As far as decor, Heather of paper please made the crest, to complement  the invitations.  I put that beautiful crest on a lot of things from Shindigz (c/o) – Wine labelscreate a paper cup,  water labels, and even on a large canvas.  I also put #welcomebabyfinley golf foiled on napkins, and we used liberty prints throughout – plates, lanterns, and toothpicks.  So thankful to Shindigz for partnering on this shower!

I served roasted chicken salad sandwiches on croissants and fruit salad.  Dips with seeded chips – hummus, boursin, and pimento cheese.  And for dessert we had chocolate-dipped madeleines, chocolate chip scones and custom cookies.  Ely from DeColoresCookiesyMas  took inspiration from the invitation, the crest, liberty prints and classic little girl dressing and created these!  Can you believe they are hand painted?  Almost too pretty to eat, but we somehow managed (;

For drinks we had champagne, sparkling pink lemonade, belvoir elderflower and rose drinks, iced tea, and water.

It was a treat for us all to spoil someone who means so much to us, and celebrate that sweet baby girl Finley who we all cannot wait to meet!
