favorite devotionals part two

A couple people have asked for devotional recommendations recently.  I did a post a few years ago, and I still read these at times as well.   But here are the ones in my current rotation:
Pressing Pause: 100 quiet moments for moms to meet with Jesus – I just added this in the last month.  It’s quick, relatable, and gets my mind set on Jesus – even in the hairiest of mom days.

The Power of a Praying Wife – I’m going through this with friends right now and it’s been a great read.  This book is valuable no matter where you are in your marriage.  I had read The power of a praying woman probably ten years ago now, and also I have Stormie’s Prayer Bible that was a gift in college.  Though to be honest, I love my tattered, plain old Bible the best.
Savor:  Shauna Niequist is an amazing writer, and I love these short thought provoking devotions.
The One Year Uncommon Life by Tony Dungy:  This is one JB and I have been going through and it’s great for both of us.
Closer to God Each Day by Joyce Meyer:  I keep this one in my car and read it in the pick up line at Tucks school.
I’d love to know what you are enjoying reading!
