home updates

we bought this sign.  It took a couple months to come in (which was noted on their site), but the wait was worth it.  It hangs near the front door now and I love it.  it makes me tear up every time I take the moment to read it.
my bunny (which I got for christmas!) is out in the front along with the little bunny directional sign I got on clearance at target last spring.  Not pictured:  my bunny wreath, and another bunny to the left.  I need a bunny-intervention.

I found these ginger jars (there’s a twin missing from this picture) at a thrift store and I love them!  only $20 for both.
one of my new years resolutions was to print out photos and put them in frames.  these two shannon took are so precious to me.  the frames are from target – they were on clearance  and look a lot like the CB2 ones I paid too much for.
I love this new little geo planter.  my succulent is growing so well there, which is surprising as there’s not a whole lot of light getting to it.
I still need to figure out what to do with the inside of our fireplace but I love how much this room has changed since we moved in.  It still has this not working gas fire contraption that’s not the prettiest, hence the basket.  I also hope to put a couple comfy chairs near the bigger window because I always feel like there’s not enough seating when we have company over.  What I’d like is some linen chairs (for the look entirely!) but that is not happening with how messy we are around here.
{the botanical prints are back up on Joss & Main!}
we changed out my beloved cafe chairs because we got an outdoor dining table and they go perfectly outside (can’t wait to share pics.  it’s definitely a happy space for me to have meals, drink coffee or wine).  These chairs are the schoolhouse ones from RH!
