Father’s Day gift guide // JB’s favorites

The dads in my life are truly some of the kindest, most hard working, and loving ones out there.  My wheels have been spinning on what to get all of them this year, and here are a few ideas // few things they are already a big fan of receiving.

All of the men in my life love to fish.  This Tommy Bahama polo would be perfect for any of them.  Lacoste makes Pima Cotton shirts which JB loves, they hold up really well, and are great for casual days (bonus they are on sale right now).  I also love to give the jcrew polo and have it monogrammed with a discreet little “JBT” (JB or my Father in law’s) or “JFM” (my brother, and dads initials).

According to JB, vim and vigr make the best socks.  We initially tried these out when JB had his blood clot last year, but he’s since become addicted.  JB has some big calves, due to being a catcher for 20 years of his life, and most socks would stretch and fall down by 10am.  These stay up all day.  They also don’t pick and pile, which I notice since I do the bulk of the laundry!  They look as good as the first day he got them over a year ago.  Plus the compression is great for you.

A few months ago JB got this standing desk for his office.  He loves being able to stand all day, aside from his appointments (I would hate it).  If your diddy is a stander or has back issues and has to sit all day, this could be a great gift.  There are less expensive options (like this one) but the other one fit the best for JB.

We love Beau Ties!  The quality is great, you can get them personalized, and they have every style you’d want.  I specifically love the ties for a cause line they have.  I’m getting my father in law, a pancreatic cancer survivor, the purple one.  It’s a great conversation piece for him since he is always so inspirational and encouraging to those currently battling cancer.

JB has always been a big fan of Rendezvous sauce and spices.   So I usually get those for Christmas or father’s day.  But his uncle told him about Zachs Spice Co and we’ve all been enjoying their rubs and spices since JB grills so much.

And of course the perfect card.  So many cute ones you can personalize with photos on Minted right now.  Especially this one!  But really the homemade ones are always my fave!  I did a card when Tuck was little of just his hand and feet prints.  Sweet way to remember how small he was.

Got any good gift ideas for dads?  Do you have any special traditions for Father’s Day?
