NYC: EATS

^^ better than any five star hotel.  Britt & Matts gorgeous place

What we ate (basically what we did the entire time!):
La Bergamote – deliciously french lunch right by Chelsea Market (aka heaven)
Locanda Verde – our favorite dinner while we were in NYC.  pumpkin ravioli!!  the decor is amazing as well.
Jacks stir brew – yummy coffee!
Laduree in soho – we stopped by here for coffee one morning and then made reservations for breakfast there the next day.  You can never go wrong with Laduree.
we met up with Kelly, her husband, and sweet baby Madison at Jacob’s Pickles  (JB hadn’t seen Kelly since college, and I got to hear some hilarious stories)
The beautiful Meg Fee  (if you haven’t read her blog, you should really go devour every word right this instant) took us around the west village – we went to Buvette (for wine, cheese, and the best chocolate mouse ever) & one if by land, two if by sea (felt like we were going back in time to the 20s… certainly not a bad thing)
We ate at a few other places that I forget their names – one in Little Italy that was so good.  One night during the snow storm we ordered pizza and watched the pretty snow fall.
A treat that my friend Amy told me about – Calypso Au Marche on broome street.  You can find tons of Calypso on clearance.  It really is such a gem.  If you are a new yorker headed for holiday somewhere warm, this is your stop.
One of the places JB said we must go is FAO Schwarz – to pick Tuck up a present.  We ended up getting him the cutest curious george in his PJ’s.

JB & I had a great time wandering NYC together, eating at every turn.  He’s the best travel buddy!
We are so looking forward to going back together.
smooches NYC.
