Every morning when we take Lola out the grass is wet with dew and rain boots are a must.  We walk down to the bayou and watch the duckies go by while Lola runs around like the crazy pup she is.  People always tell me, the days are long but the years are short.  And as we approach one year in the life of Tuck, I have to say – that is absolutely true.  These days, as crazy as they are sometimes, i am loving my time with my boy.
yesterday while checking out at Target I got my wallet out … Tuck reached in, grabbed my credit card and gave it to the cashier.  The man behind us about died laughing, as did I, and the cashier too.
Monkey see, monkey do.
At the craft store yesterday Tuck played peekaboo with an older couple.  The man looked so sad and then so happy. Babies bring so much joy.
While also there he spotted some teenage girls he must have thought were soooo pretty.  Because he squeeled and waved and just had to have them.  One in particular, as once again, he jumped out of my arms and into a random teenage girls.  Don’t get any ideas tuck… I get you for at least 15 more years before you can date.
outtings are not without their hairy moments.  I showed Tuck some fischer price toy and when i proceeded to put it back in the basket he was.not.having.it!  It turned into quite the game of distraction.  Snacks are a must have at all times for this.
We have gotten leaps and bounds better at napping lately.  But I still occasionally indulge in the cuddles instead of crib time.
Love when he pops his head up, sees he’s on my chest, lights up and goes back to sleep.
trucks.  the obsession begins.  his new favorite thing is anything with wheels.  steering wheels, ohhhh gosh.  good luck prying his arms off of it!
