my dreamboat of a husband

when you’re dating someone, you gotta wonder … is this guy gonna be a good dad?
you know, if kids are in your hopeful life plan and all.
i never doubted for a second jb would be the best father to walk the face of the planet.
{a title i feel he deserves}
JB and I had only been dating about 7 months when I got really sick, and pretty much spent the next several months recovering.  that boy would sleep in a nasty leather chair beside me, one that didn’t even recline, in a hospital where even if you have a bed, you get no sleep.  before this I lived four hours away from him.  he would drive four hours, take me to dinner, and drive back.  that’s 8 hours for dinner!  he would ask if I wanted to visit him when he was out of the state… “how about tomorrow?” and then forward me a ticket and booking confirmation. i’d be on a plane the next day.  now as a dad, he takes great care of us.  he still surprises me, and tuck with treats.
less spontaneous but just as good.
he is a nurturer, which isn’t always a role a man feels comfortable playing.
he is consistent.  he is a dream boat.
seeing him as a daddy makes me love him even more.
{i thought it not possible, too!}
hey jb, you’re still the best human.  we love you.
