i’m perfect, so is my husband, and my kid is too.

LIES! like a big one.

while reading my devotion (a good one for mamas) this morning and also in light of Anna’s post
I thought  – I really hope I’m being authentic on this here blog.
so spoiler alert: my life is no where near perfect.
despite my instagram picture perfect life.  my highlight reel if you will.
I still love my life and i am not gonna lie, it’s a good one.

but, i confess …
my kid watches curious george in the car.
and has since i discovered an ipad holder on zulily one morning around 6 months.
and that was all she wrote.
i now don’t fear trips to the grocery store.
my house is clean approximately one time a month.
when my maid comes.
it takes me about ten seconds for her to leave for another mess to appear.
i’m not getting snockered around here; but I have a glass of wine.
and breastfeed after.

i let tuck and lola share toys.
i’ve just … given up.

tuck has slept on his stomach since he was 2 months old.
he’s still alive.

i’ve let tuck have a lick of my frutare (coconut frozen treat from heaven)
and he hooted (what he does when he’s hungry) for it until i ate the rest.
according to mom’s on the internet aka babycenter, i’m setting him up for a lifetime of obesity.
despite all of that, I can still say with 100% certainty,
I’m a really good mom.
not perfect, that’s never gonna happen.
but a darn good mom.
and i totally meant what i said last night; everyday is the best because it’s spent with him.
