Cabana Lifestyle

I’m such a florida girl, through and through.  I love the ocean, sunshine, salt air… what could be better?  but I want to be around a long time to see great grandbabies too.  So I strive to be more and more conscientious of the sun.  Which is why I love cabana life!  They make covering up from the sun cuuuuuyute.  Cabana life sponsored a little chat between the four of us mommies and our four little sugar babies.  We had high hopes!  We thought we’d grab an early dinner at the Beach Club on Sea Island … but this was not the plan of our babies.  So we quickly enlisted a ten year old boy (sweet hudson) to take some photos of us at the Beach Club.  Then we happily headed back on home for pizza and wine.  where lots of chats and giggles were shared.  win-win.

Cabana Life (CL):  It must be fun to get together with women
whose lives are so like your own, on such gorgeous neutral ground!
How did you pick Sea Island, and what are
your plans for your time together?  I had never been but had heard amazing things!  So when Morgan suggested Sea Island, we were all over it!  And it truly is a little piece of southern paradise.

CL:
What are the top conversation topics between you four, as you come
together for the first time?
S: oh my word… well, everything under the sun.  Including bacon.  We talked a lot about being mamas, but also just the normal stuff I’m sure we would have bonded over if we had met pre-babes.  Just a whole lot of girl talk!  Not a single awkward moment was had, just lots of giggling and understanding.

CL:
The beach is a great vacation when you have young kids, but it is not
without its…  manual labor!  What are your keys to a flawless beach
holiday –for the kids, yes, but mostly, for you?  S: Shade!  oh my.  a beach umbrella is a must.  After that, just being prepared for me and Tuck, to avoid potential hiccups later on in the day.  I love a good beach bag, with literally everything under the sun.  Chap stick with SPF, sunscreen, a hat are all going in that beach bag.  I’m always a little over zealous and bring along a book or magazine.  That rarely gets read now that Tuck is in tow!

CL:
The Cabana Lifestyle is all about making days in the sun easier for Moms
like you – rashguard, even for non-surfers, is such a simple solution for kids
of all ages.  But the Cabana Lifestyle is
also about fashion for you; we know how many hours you log in the sun as
Waterfront Directors!   S:  I LOVED my rash guard, which was also a cover up.  I’m semi obsessed with things that are multi-functional, and this is one of those pieces.  I wore it as a cover up, and I even hopped in the pool with it on!  It dries super quick!  It’s a rashguard in a second when you pull the strings on the side.  It can be modest with the zipper pulled tight up to the neck, or show a little something with the zipper lower.  And don’t even get me started on how well it protects me from the sun!  It’s a gem.  And I want one in every color now.  I loved the other mamas cover ups too!

My rash guard / cover up is the Navy Gold embroidered rashguard here. really pretty white and gold one here too!  Use code SEAISLAND10 for 10% off already lowered prices until August 31st.
