must. go. back. to Italy.

Its coming up on almost a year since our friends married inside The Vatican!  
I thought I'd share some of our trip down to Roma and of the wedding.  
taaaaake me back husband.  pretty please.
its where i belong.

  2. I've only ever been to Venice. And Venice is great. I love Venice. But there is SO much more I'm dying to see.

    And can we talk about that wedding? I didn't even know you could marry there. I'm sort of jealous.

  10. Your photos are amazing! I'm so jealous that you got to go to a wedding at the Vatican. How awesome!! I went a year and a half ago and loved every minute of it. I was amazed that I could just wonder around with nowhere to go and I found amazing sites down every street!   12. Ah! Love Roma! Was just there last week visiting family. Ate pasta every day. We're actually considering moving there for 6 months (or longer) we love it so much!!!

  14. My favorite gelateria is in Rome...and I've been living in Italy for 5+ years now so, that's saying a lot.

    I lived in Rome for a few months and it was marvelous.

  15. i dream of italy every day. i studied abroad there while doing my minor in christian art and fell in love. all over again. whenever i go to europe I am always like oh lets go somewhere new, but have to touchdown in Roma at some point!

  37. My husband and I will be there in two weeks! We are taking our niece and nephew with us and will be traveling to Rome, Venice, Cinque Terra, Florence and Naples!
    Any one have a tips on must see attractions or ones to skip?

  59. Okay, you were a WAY cuter tourist than I was! At the time of packing, I thought of practicality versus fashion and now I kind of regret wearing the same 3 outfits in every photo from the trip! Ha!

    PS - Our diet consisted of gelato, pasta, pizza and bread!

  61. My goodness!! Sarah, it's so beautiful!! I have yet to go to Italy, but considering my heritage is 50% Italian and 50% German {which, I'll be visiting Germany very soon} and my grandmother came directly from Italy here {I haven't the slightest idea why she ever left} I ought to go, yes? YES.
