Nawlins: part one

Ahh, new orleans.  Why can't you be mine?
It is the city I move to in my dreams.
What is not to love?  The food is the very best. {Fun fact. the only times I've ever been able to gain weight was the two summers I spent in college in new orleans}.  The architecture is incredible.
The people are so fun.  Culture is everywhere.  I feel like I'm in Europe.
That's my criteria for a good city apparently -
food.culture.european like. fun people. pretty.
I find myself sighing in the way you only sigh when you're in love, whenever I am there.
There's an immense amount of beauty on every single street.
It leaves me breathless.

I'll be back tomorrow with many more pictures.  but wanted to give you a little preview.
xo

  2. aww. I adore the fact that you have ONLY been able to gain weight in that certain period of time! What a blessing to have a natural equilibrium with the weight. (hope I didn't word that wrongly)

I'm a new follower and I have just LOVED everything I'm reading girl. Your page has the feeling I'd want my blog to have someday. Warm and inviting and so inspiring!

  3. Love the pics and it makes me want to go there so bad! I am taking my first trip to the south (ATL) on Monday. It's for work, but I am still so excited to go somewhere, anywhere in the south!

Also, obsessed with the boxer pics. That is one of the cutest boxers I have ever seen and I am a boxer owner so I have seen tons!

  19. New Orleans is such a special place. These pictures are great. You had a MUCH classier time there than I did when I went last weekend. Next time I go, I want it to be more relaxing and culture-filled (i.e. not Mardi Gras culture...though it was a great time).
