a trip to the swiss pumpkin patch

They have these farms all over Switzerland.
you pick your own flowers,  pick out the right pumpkins, jam, pickled veggies ...
and you put money in a box.  no attendant.  all on an honor system.
love switzerland

Happy Monday Mon Cherie!

  6. The end of summer kind of bums me out. But a trip to a pumpkin patch is a fine remedy - but a SWISS pumpkin patch? Amazing.

  7. Aw, how lovely! It's so nice that they're able to trust the people buying pumpkins. That's so inspiring (:

  8. I live in rural southeastern Pennsylvania and rarely I come across something like that except on a much smaller scale...people will set up a stand by the road, or near their mailbox, and have a box for you to drop the money! It's so quaint and it makes me happy that people look out for the best in others.

I am so excited for you to make your next month's trip to Firenze! Can't wait for those posts!! You know I love Italia, but seriously Switzerland is right up there...absolutely beautiful...can't wait to see it for myself! I love this post about the pumpkins and such, those grey looking ones are so interesting! Never seen them before!
